Taco Dip is the perfect snack for game day, a quick party appetizer or to serve to unexpected guests last minute. This easy no bake dip recipe starts with a creamy layer flavored with my favorite taco seasoning.
We add all of our favorite toppings including lettuce, tomatoes and cheese (I also love olives and jalapenos).
Perfect for dipping tortillas, crackers or veggies.
THE EASIEST DIP
It’s official, I’ve found the world’s easiest and yummiest dip recipe… Taco Dip! Taco dip is the perfect snack to make for game day, dinner parties, potlucks, Mexican night, you name it!
This dip is very similar to a 7 layer dip, because it is layered with so much mouth-watering goodness but much quicker and simpler to make. Not only is this recipe incredibly fast to make, everyone absolutely gobbles it up (and requests the recipe).
The creamy layer is a mixture of cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning and it’s all topped off with our favorite fixings. This is a no meat taco dip and instead of store bought packets, I prefer to use homemade taco seasoning, because it has way more flavor (and less salt).
We most often serve this with tortilla chips, but you can serve it with pita bread, crackers, or even fresh vegetables!
2 8oz cream cheese boxes
2 big spoonfuls sour cream.
2 pkgs of taco seasoning
chopped black olives
chopped green pepper
4 cups shredded Mexican Cheese
Beat cream cheese and sour cream together til smooth, add taco seasoning. Spread on large glass dish…top with lettuce, Green onion (if you like onion) Tomatoes and black olives sliced. Top with cheddar cheese…use any corn chips you desire. Best part of this is you can add more or less toppings to the base depending on tastes and kids love it too. I recommend using disposable 9×13 aluminum pan if taking this dish to a party or picnic. It can be split into 2 round cake pans if you have picky eaters too!
